Enjoying the nice weather

I love this fall weather where it is cold at night and in the morning but perfect in the afternoon! Not too cold and not too hot! I know that it is not going to last much longer with it being the end of October so today I tried to enjoy it with Connor. Billy had to work but Connor and I went with my fam to my Great Aunt Verda's to celebrate my Great Grandma Shurtluff's birthday. Even though the weather was warm we had soup and it still tasted amazing! I had homemade chicken noodle soup. My mom brought it and the noodles are so amazing. And then I had some taco soup too ha which was amazing too. I figured why not have both since it was my lunch and dinner :). They were in toasted bread bowls soooo good! We decided to go to this park by my Aunt Verda's after dinner and I am so glad we did cuz it was so much fun! Not many park days left for this year so we have got to enjoy them while we can!

Jaqlyn, Connor, and I walking back from the park.

Jaqlyn and Connor

Connor going down the slide with Mommy. He LOVED this slide. It was a very steep slide so I had to take him down. He has the hugest grin on his face I love it! Taylor told me about his big grin after the 1st time I took him down so I told her to take a picture so I could see. So cute!

This is the very steep slide and yes I did enjoy it going down by myself :)

Kailey being a goofball.

I was trying to take a picture of Kailey jumping out of the swing but I was a little late so this is her landing lol.

Jaqlyn and Grandpa

Mommy and Connor

This picture is soooo cute! Don't I have the cutest family! I think every single one of them looks adorable in this! I was so glad I got a picture where every one looks good!

Connor sat on this swing with Jaqlyn for like 15 minutes. He was so content and just loved it. I love how he is looking at Jaqlyn smiling in this picture. He just adores her.

Just hanging out on the swing.

On Friday night I went with Billy, my mom and sisters to HSM3! My dad watched Connor (Thanks Dad!). Billy and I are not ashamed to admit we are huge HSM fans! I loved the 3rd one and it was so fun to see it on the big screen! I loved the songs and already have been singing them lol. I am so glad it was #1 at the Box Office. It made the most on opening weekend than any other musical ever has! It also boasted the top opening of all time for live-action G rated movie! WAHOO! Yay for HSM3!! Next movie that I am pumped for is Twilight!!! I can't wait!

Halloween Story Time!

Last night Connor and I went to Spooky Story Time at the Spanish Fork Library with my family (Billy was at work). Connor of course was too busy and wild to sit and listen to a story but we still had a lot of fun! My little sister Jaqlyn that is 6 loved it!

Here is my little Frankenstein

L

Isn't he cute :)

Franky eating a chip.

This is Gracen (Rachel LlewellynWilkinson's little boy) he is so dang cute! Her little boy Brecken that is Connor's age was there too as a zebra but unfortunately I didn't get a picture of him. Rachel was the one that told me about this event. Thanks Rachel! I was unable to even get a picture of Connor at the library because I was chasing him or trying to keep him quiet by showing him his book and giving him his milk. He kept going up to kids in front of him and wanted to touch their costumes and then the kids would turn around and give us dirty looks lol.
As you can see from the pictures above Connor is wearing the head to his costume! Before I put it on him I showed him the packaging and told him what it was and he was very intrigued. Then I was like do you want to be Frankenstein? Then after I put it on him I went and showed him himself in the mirror (Thanks Rachel) and said look your Frankenstein! He loved it! Then after we left the bathroom he tried to take it off a few times and I would just say No you have to be Frankenstein! Leave it on so you can be Frankenstein! And then he would, so it worked. Yay!

Happy birthday babe!

Happy Birthday to my hubby! Billy had his 27th Birthday yesterday! We are getting old lol. We went to his parents and hung out and relaxed for a little while. After that we went to The Hard Rock Cafe with friends and his family. I am glad we went because we found out it is closing in December and I had never been to the one in Salt Lake. Another good reason we went is that Billy collects pins from every Hard Rock Cafe we go too and he didn't have one from there. Even if we don't eat at Hard Rock Cafe if we go somewhere that has one he has to go there and get a pin. He also has his parents and grandparents pick pins up for him when they go on vacations.

The present was the tv series How I Met Your Mother Season 3

Clayton and Karri

Liz and Hudson

Thanks everyone for coming! We had a lot of fun!

Today we went to my parents for dinner. My sisters and I decided to go through the Halloween dress up bin in the living room and we had fun with it. We even made a video. Kailey and I were like Rainbow Brite/Strawberry Shortcake friends and Taylor was a pirate that looked scary but was really nice. She saved Kailey and I and then we realized she was nice haha.

Lemon Merigne(Kailey) La La Orange (Amber)

We are supposed to look scared of Taylor in this picture haha.

And The Winner is......

FRANKENSTEIN!!!!

We got Connor this Frankenstein costume on Saturday at the Partyland in Lehi. I think he will make a pretty cute Frankenstein and it goes with his personality. I just hope he will keep the head on!

Video Overload

I know I just posted a few weeks ago about this new found restaurant max and cheese that I love. Well of course I went again, but this time Connor and I brought friends. I went with Ashley Mangum; who lives by me and her 2 kids Sophie and Ethan. It was a lot of fun Ashley and I were able to just chat at our table and just let the kids play. It was even silent for a couple minutes so I peeked through one of the holes and they were all playing seperately and quietly. I seriously love this place and if I was rich and could afford to eat out there all the time I would. I was there with Ashley and her kids for an hour and then she had to leave to take Sohpie to preschool. Connor and I stayed for another half hour and he probably would have lasted another hour. Thanks for doing lunch with me Ashley it was fun!

Connor's favorite toy there is this bus. He plays with it almost the whole time we are there.

Of course he is playing with letter magnets. Letters are his favorite thing!

This is Ethan. He is a couple months older than Connor but you wouldn't know it cuz Connor is so much taller. He was much more interested in the car table than the bus. I didn't get to get a picture of darling Sophie because when I took this she was getting a prize for solving a riddle.

This is Connor saying his ABC's. He usually says the letter that comes after the one I say but this time decided to repeat what I said. Towards the end but then say Y after W & X. If he doesn't know what is next he just keeps saying the one he knows is coming up like he does with M in this video

I was having difficultly uploading this video and the next one on here and wasted like a half hour. For some reason it would only let me do one video in this post which is weird cuz I know I have done more than one in previous posts. LAME. I finally decided to upload them on to you tube so I could put them on here and it worked fine. Anyways, sorry this video is so long. Can you believe he actually can identify letters! He is 20 months old and knows what 3/4 of upper case letters are. He just is so fascinated with them and has such a desire to learn. I hope he keeps it forever. These foam letters are actually for the tub and they stick on the wall. He does play with them in the tub. They are one of his favorite toys though so he likes to play with them outside of the tub too. He has letter mangnets too that he loves. How funny is it that his favorite toy is letters. It blows me away that he knows all his letters and I have to use my bragging rights of a mom and show you all. In this video I counted and there are 20 of the letters and he gets 13 of them right so he only misses 7. These foam blocks came with numbers too and he knows about half of them (1-10). The video is 3 minutes long with out the numbers though so I figured it was long enough. Notice after I say X he says Y and then I say Y and he says Z that's how we usually say our ABC's together :)

Here is Connor saying his numbers. Sorry he needed a drink at the beginning. Isn't it the cutest how he says 13.

TAGGED!

My friend Amber had this on her blog and even though she didn't officially tag me I thought it looked fun. Basically, you search for the answers to your questions using the Google/Yahoo Image search. Then, you have to post an image from the first page of the results with your answer.

My Age

24

Where I live:

I typed PG Villas and suprisingly a condo came up of where I live. We have a town house but yeah this is where I live!

Place I would like to travel to:

I typed Paris, France but I want to travel Europe in general someday.

My favorite food:

fettucine alfredo is my fav but I love pretty much all Italian food.

Where I grew up:

Benjamin, UT. Lots of you that live in Utah might not even know where that is. It is a small town right between Spanish Fork and Payson.

My favorite color:

Green

My favorite animal:

I LOVE monkeys! After I saw the movie monkey trouble I seriously wanted a pet monkey!

Something I used to love:

I couldn't decide between cabbage patch dolls and trolls so I just did both. Cabbage patch dolls were my 1st love and then came trolls! I had a lot of Cabbage patch dolls but my very 1st one was always my favorite. I still remember her name it was Kiera. Kiera used to be my favorie girl name because it was my favorite cabbage patch dolls name. I always wanted to name my 1st daugher Kiera because of that.

My first name:

Amber, this is a picture of Amber crystal. My mom always said she named me Amber because of my golden hair.

My middle name:

Lyn, I typed in Lyn and couldn't find anything good so I typed in Amber Lyn and found some chocolate named Amber Lyn which is perfect for me. The only problem is that it says its sugar free. If they are going to name chocolate after me it definetly needs sugar.

My last name:

I'd like to tag whoever would like to do this image tag!
