Connor's birthday!

Yesterday was Connor's 3RD Birthday!

I seriously can't believe that he is 3! It seems like every birthday hits me harder and comes faster! Everytime I can't believe he is already 1....then 2....now 3! I swear time goes by so much faster when you have kids! Honestly I can say that Connor was not a "terrible two" he had very minimul temper tantrums and meltdowns. He is such a good boy and I feel so blessed! He brings so much joy to our lives and you can't not be smiling and laughing when you are with him. It is bittersweet how fast he is growing up. Sometimes I just want to freeze time and keep him the same forever. I have loved every single stage and age so far with him.

My car was getting fixed in Salt Lake by a guy that Billy's dad knows and is one of his clients. It wasn't done till 5:30 and there was traffic so Billy didn't get home till 6:45 and the party started at 7. He had 15 minutes to do the foundant frosting. He blames being rushed on it not turning out how he wanted. He thought it looked "crappy" I think it looks fine and it tasted DELICIOUS. Compared to what he usually does it is not as good but it was just fine for Connor! He told Connor If you were paying me for this I would do a lot better lol

In the afternoon we went to Discovery Gateway. Billy's aunt had free tickets so we all got in for FREE. Connor had a blast and loved it there!

Today is a milestone day I am 20 weeks prego! Yay I am halfway done! It seriously has gone by so much faster than it did with Connor! 20 more weeks till baby Jack joins our family!

It's a.....

BOY!!!!

I kinda have thought it was for a while and now it is confirmed!

Today was my ultrasound where we got to see that the baby is in fact a boy!

Ultra sounds are my favorite they just make it seem so much more REAL!

Connor went with us to it and he was really good. When we told him it was a boy he said where's Juliet? And we said she's not there, and he said she's sleeping there and we said no she's still in heaven lol.

I am excited that it is a boy. I think it will be fun to have 2 boys and they can be buddies and I think Connor is going to be such a good big brother.

Billy wanted it to be a girl but he is ok. We are only going to have 3 kids so if my 3rd one is not a girl then I will be really sad because I want to have a daughter. I swear it seems like almost everyone I know has them in pairs and then the opposite and they actually love having 2 of the same because they are best friends and then the opposite. Hopefully that is how it works for me!

January so far....

I put January so far as the title of my post because I have been blog slacking lately and I know I will do at least 2 more posts this month. January 25th I find out what I am having, and January 29th is Connor's 3rd birthday!!

Last night I went to Fat Cats with some friends and we ate at Costa Vida and then bowled. We had so much fun! It is so funny because I wasn't even friends with these girls in high school and now us and some others are like our own group of friends just from facebook and blogging pretty much. I love them all!

My friend Amber Pendleton that lives in Indiana came here for Christmas and was here for a few weeks. I was able to get together and have dinner with her and Amber Prior before she went home. We went to Brick Oven. I am so glad I got to see Amber Pendleton because her parents are moving to California and so who knows when she will be back. I love my Amber's! They were my close friends in high school who I still remain close with. Karen and Jess wish you could have been there!

New Years Day it is a tradition to go sledding up at the ranch. The 4 wheelers take us up the big hill with our sleds and then we go down. I didn't know how Connor would like it because it is a big hill and you go SUPER fast. He LOVED it! He was laughing and yelling WOO! The whole time. It was so much fun!

Christmas!

I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas!

Ok these pictures of Connor in the tub aren't from Christmas they are from last night but I had to put them on here cuz they are so cute!

He wanted to take his lego guy to the tub. When I took this picture he said "This is my guy his hair's wet". Connor is obsessed about hair being wet. On the way up to the tub he was like his hair's gonna get wet! He asks me and Billy a few times a day if our hair is wet and if his hair is wet. Don't ask me why he is just a silly boy!

Ok here are the Christmas ones!!!

Connor got new DRUMS for Christmas! We had to keep the guitar hero ones out in the living room for him cuz he would play them every day while he sang to music videos or my iphone and they don't even make sound when you play them. We got him drums that actually make sound and he loves them!

On Christmas Eve after the Davis Party we went to my parent's and exchanged gifts.

We draw names and Kailey got me and I got her. She got me the movie 500 days of Summer. If you haven't seen that it is the cutest movie I have seen in a long time! I loved it and highly recommend it! I gave her a cute heart necklace that says sisters.

Connor got a leap frog scribble and write. You trace letters on it and learn to draw letters. He loves it of course!

My Grandma gave Me & my sisters all matching headbands. I love mine! I got a green one from a girl at work too and I love them!

On Christmas we went to Billy's mom's and had breakfast at his Grandma Dahle's.

Billy's mom made Connor a quiet book It is so cute and she spent a lot of time and hard work doing it! Connor loves it and so do I!

Update on Connor

Connor is still too smart for his own good. Reading all the time when I didn't even ever teach him. He has been saying the funniest things lately and has a great sense of humor. He loves to tell knock knock jokes and he loves making people laugh. His favorite thing is music! Dancing to it, singing, and playing music instruments. We think he is going to be a performer :). He also loves to play on the computer. He has a tab called Connor's games and he knows how to click on Safari, click on Connor's games and then go where he wants too. He does this website called starfall that is for reading and my little sister that is in 1st grade told me she does that website at school .

Some funny things Connor has said lately:

He watches Sesame Street podcasts on my phone and there are word of the day ones. One of the word of the days was struggle. He was trying to open the front door and couldn't and he said "Oh that's a struggle."

He sometimes will say You did it! You have all the right ingredients! He got it from this Dora game on the computer that you bake on.

Whenever I am changing his clothes he says "I'm gonna close my eyes" and he closes his eyes. Then he says "Don't laugh at me", and "Don't call me naked".

We were going to get rid of this tent in his room that he has had since he was 1. It is more of a baby tent. He said no that's my car! Ever since he goes and plays in his "car" all the time. He has a few imaginary things lately. He has an imaginary green phone. If I don't have a song he will say I have it on my green phone. He will tell me his is texting people on it. He also has an imaginary house in California. He will say I have that at my nother house, and that his nother house is in California.

I love this little boy so much. He is a momma's boy and my best buddy. I will take it as long as it lasts and wouldn't mind if that was forever.

Guess what......

So I guess it's about time I announce on here that I'M PREGNANT!!!!!

I am 10 weeks a long and my due date is June 18th!

Notice my little ticker to the side it says 204 days to go. Man that seems long!

I am hoping for a girl so I can buy all the frills, and bows, and pink, and just everything GIRLY but I really will be happy either way! I already have everything boy so I would save so much money and if my 2nd was a boy I would be ok but if the 3rd wasn't well that would be sad because I would be done.

Billy REALLY wants a girl and he just knows that it is and only talks that it is a girl. If it is a girl he wants to be done. One of each and we are good but I really want 3 kids.

Morning sickness has been worst this time than it was for Connor but still not bad compared to most. With Connor I think I only threw up a total of 3 times. Well last week I threw up 5 times lol. I think I have thrown up like 10 times. It is always just in the morning and my breakfast cereal. I had to figure out that I couldn't eat the sugary cereals so I had to have frosted mini wheats for 4 days in a row. Then I tried honey nut cheerios thinking I would be fine....nope.

I am really really tired! If I could take a nap every day I would! Working a whole shift at Target sometimes feels like running a marathon. Hopefully I won't be so tired 2nd trimester.

I had my 10 week appointment yesterday and got to hear the heart beat. I LOVE hearing the heart beat for the 1st time! That is what I was waiting for to announce it :). Connor was with me and he heard it and comes over and I was like do you hear that? It's the baby's hearbeat and he said I wanna see it. So cute!
