Summertime is my favorite time!

Holy Cow Summer is FLYING by! I thought June went by way too fast and now July is going by even faster! I didn't think that was possible! Why is it that winter I want to go by fast and Summer I want to go by slow and it is opposite? Well we have done A LOT of fun things so far this summer! We have went to Cherry Hill, Bear Lake, and Park City! Jack turned 1 I turned 27 (ugh I 'm getting old!) and Connor graduated his 1st year of preschool. I can't believe I have gotten so behind on my blog but now it is catch up time!

PARK CITY

My mom got a timeshare Condo in Park City last year and we decided to go for a few days this year. It is at the Westgate Resort. It is so nice! We loved it and had so much fun. Our good friends The Holdaways came for a couple days and stayed with us. Connor had so much fun with their boys Noah who is 2 and Hudson who is 5. My family came up the last day we were there and then stayed the rest of the week.

Connor was so excited to find this wheel on our walk back to the car in Park City. It is his souvenir haha.

We went to Ren Banjo Thursday night to celebrate my birthday. They have way yummy pizza!

LOVED the pool at Park City! The water is so warm! It is an Indoor/Outdoor pool so half of it is indoor and half outdoor. It's way cool.

Jack looks so big in these pictures of him playing at the playground. It makes me kinda sad!

We went to Shriner's Children's Hospital for the OI Clinic while staying in Park City. Connor had lots of X-rays done and met with about 10 different Doctors. He was very good considering. We met with genetics doctors, a pediatric orthopedic surgeon, physical therapist, dentist, and audiologist. It was a long day but we got more information on Connor. His tibia that he has broken 3 times is a little bit bowed. From breaking it 3 times of course. His left leg alignment from the hip is about 30-40 degrees outward. His right is fine and is parallel. This is why he walks with his foot out and can't run very well. They said he could out grow it and if he doesn't then when he is 8 they will do a surgery to fix it. The x-ray did not show OI. They said where he is mild lots of times it doesn't show on it. Because it didn't though he has to get a blood test to make sure he has it. This has to be done at Primary Children's and we will take him next week. If he doesn't have OI then we will have to do more blood tests to figure out what brittle bone disease he does have.

Shriner's has a big fun play area upstairs. Jack LOVES riding in these!

Billy's mom planned a big 80th birthday party for her dad. It was a lot of fun.

BEAR LAKE

It has been tradition in my family to go to Bear Lake every year since before I was born. It is our big Davis Family reunion and it is one of my favorite things to do every year! I missed last year because I had just had Jack so I was even more excited to go this year. We had a blast. Sadly I did not get very many pictures though. Connor went on the tube with the boat for the 1st time. He loved it. He also went on the jet ski for the 1st time. He went once with Billy and once with me. Jack went on the boat for the 1st time and liked it. We had fun playing mini golf, sitting at the beach, playing kickball, eating together, and just spending time together.

They added a water slide to the pool at Bear Lake! Connor loved it!

On Sunday we went to the Paris Idaho Tabernacle.

On our way to Bear Lake we stopped and saw the temple they are building in Brigham City and went to the Tabernacle.

Om June 11th Jack turned 1! He is such a big boy now! His 1st year went by way too fast!

We gave Jack a water table for his birthday. He likes it but Connor enjoys Jack's water table more than Jack does. He asks to take it out every day. He loves when kids come to play with it with him.

We put Connor in T ball this year and he had a lot of fun! He isn't very good and would mostly just sit in the outfield but he did have fun and it was a good experience for him. We had a lot of fun going to his games.

He got pretty good at hitting it! He sometimes got up there and hit it good first try and other times it took 4 or 5 tries.

THE ZOO

We met my family up at the zoo for our 2nd trip to the zoo this summer!

We love summer! I wish it would slow down but I know that it won't. We love to go outside and play everyday. Connor has gotten a lot more social this summer and plays with kids outside all the time. He loves to go to the playground outside our house too. We go swimming every week and get snow cones every week. We love to go for walks and eat lots of popsicles. We are enjoying every day and never want summer to go away. Hey that rhymed haha. I hope all of you are having a great summer too!
